Activities
The Terrapin Beer Co venue offers several unique activities. See the "Activities" page for more information and other activities. This year, there will be a Dead Man's Party on Saturday! Doors at 9 PM and music from 10 PM-midnight. Costumes are highly encouraged. General Admission tickets allow you entry to the Dead Man's Party at no additional cost. If you choose to come only for the Dead Man's Party, tickets can be purchased for this event separately for $10.
Family-Friendly Notes
Historically, Sundays have been reserved for family-friendly activities. However, in 2026, we would like to try something new! Families should be advised that HauntFest may offer things that could be triggering for young children, such as gore, intense shows, and explicit vendor booths. We encourage parents to consider this when choosing to bring their children, but we do not ID for this at the door (only upon the purchase of alcohol or for any 18+ activities). Rather than having a family-friendly Sunday, HauntFest will be advertising more kid-frinedly activities in the earlier hours of the day for both days. The Release of the Ghouls will be at 6PM, at which point the event may get bumped up a notch. On Saturday, there will be a dance party from 10 PM-12 AM, suggested for ages 18+.

The more sponsors we get, the more thrilling this event can be! Sponsorships can take many forms, such as allowing us to host a promotional event or fundraiser in your space, donating physical gifts for game prizes, or providing a typical monetary sponsorship.

Sorta Spooky
MyNameIsDoC, I'm a solo artist, produced by a full band. My music is heavily centered around pop culture, specifically horror. I have music with acts such as (Hed) P.E., Twiztid, First Jason (Ari Lehman: Jason Voorhees actor), GreatDaeg (Daeg Faerch: Michael Myers actor), and D12, among others. Ari Lehman just headlined my CD Release Party a few months ago.
Sorta Spooky is a queer rock band from Greensboro, NC! Embracing the weird & wonderful, we specialize in writing songs about all things strange and unconventional. Creating a safe space for the community, while spreading cryptid lore, gay chaos and queer joy in our hearse!
Greylow
Instrumental rock formed in 2023.
To No Avail
Hailing from the Charleston metal scene's dark underbelly, To No Avail unleashes Lowcountry brutality on the metal scene. Fueled by sweltering summers and the Ashley River's dark waters, our sound is a swampy fusion of aggression and melody. Charleston's finest sons, bent on sonic destruction.
Bad Guru
We are Bad Guru, a rock band out of Atlanta, Georgia. Our music is a fusion of psychedelic and stoner rock that has soul-searching melodies and vocals that wax on the dark sides of humanity.
Sunday, April 12th
JQueue
An angsty, poetic, grown emo kid (a bit redundant). JQueue is a long-time horror media fan, with references littered in his lyrics.
Garden Variety
Garden Variety is an Atlanta/Athens based Funk & Soul band. They perform both original music and a variety of covers to make you dance, ranging from 70s funk classics to 20s R&B.
The Geckos
The Geckos are an Athens based band formed in 2025. They play covers that range from indie to alternative, with an appearance of the occasional original song. They utilize instruments such as drums, bass, guitars, and synthesizers. These guys are awesome.
Persona Machine
Persona Machine has been active for about 2 years, consisting of 6 members from the Athens area. Our members are all professional artists, working in Theatre, Music, Tattoo and Piercing. Our musical inspiration derives from the struggle of living in a body that does not function, and the dysmorphia that follows. Thematically, this is represented by the concept of a homunculus - A creature patched together with spare parts by a mad creator.
