HauntFest is quite unlike other conventions you may be used to. We are more of a big Halloween party, with live music, vendors, activities, animal encounters, fire performers, haunted trails, and more, with most of our events being held indoors and outdoors, or primarily outdoors. For this reason, we do not call ourselves a convention, but rather, a festival. With our more unusual business model, it is not often that we invite special appearances to our events. Our budget is quite tight, as we have to account for all of the entertainment aspects of the festival. Due to the unpredictable nature of being a young business in this field and traveling to new places for the first time, we are not a fan of guarantees. We receive numerous requests for special appearances at each of our events, but it is typically something out of our price range. If you are truly interested in getting involved with us, we will give the most consideration to those who apply as a vendor or those who are willing to work with us on a hiring price.
